What we do and what the system is?
At Scatech, we supply complete permanent gondolas systems including anchorages systems and work cages. We will be with you throughout your journey of selecting the best height access equipment for your new building or your façade maintenance requirements.
Design Consultation
When provided with details such as building plans and requirements for your permanent gondolas system, we will provide a first proposal complete with concept, photographs of similar systems and project references for your consideration.
If selected, we will be in close discussions for design reviews and fulfillment of site and structural requirements until final proposal is approved.
Fabrication
Once confirmed, we will fabricate the full permanent gondolas system and work cages to your specifications with high quality materials. All items are available to you for inspection prior to installation at site.
Installation
Our Team will liase closely with your site operations to cast-in and/or mount our systems onto your building as your work schedule progresses. We will undertake project management to ensure seamless installation and delivery of our system to your project.
Testing & Commissioning
We will provide the necessary and agreed such as load tests, third-party certificates or Certificates of Inspection by qualified Professional Engineers. As we operate throughout Asia, different countries and states have different requirements; we understand the landscape and will be able to work with you through them.
Maintenance
Like any other equipment, the permanent gondolas systems will need to be maintained and cared for post-installation at site for continued use and reliability of systems.
We will be able to provide expert regular maintenance as per agreed schedule with you to inspect and check and replace mechanical parts such as bearings, tracks and trolleys if required.

Aluminium Track System
Usually proposed for locations with gondola landing issues. Gondola will be launched at a designated location and travel to the desired location for works -
Cast In Pipe System
Usually proposed for locations with glass or steel railings and balconies. System is aesthetically pleasing and generally maintenance free. Davit arms are set up at various locations as anchorages for the gondolas. -
Building Maintenance Unit
Building Maintenance Unit is an automatic machine-based system and an alternative to Permanent Gondolas Systems which are generally more manual. A BMU can travel around the perimeter of building roof and launch the gondola cradle at the desired location for works. Refer to our BMU for more information. -
Double Track Gantry System
Usually proposed for locations with gondola landing issues. Gondola will be launched at a designated location and travel to the desired location for works. -
Drop Through System
Usually proposed for those buildings lines which set in altogether at lower heights. Wire ropes will be inserted and lowered through drop through anchor points to reach gondola cradle body. -
Downhang Hook System
Usually proposed for those buildings lines which set in at various heights. The hooks serve as a rigging point for the gondola wire ropes. Gondolas will first be used as an access to reach the mid-level anchor points to hook on the wire ropes. The same gondola cradle can later be used with the downhang hook system to reach the inner parts of the building. -
Slab Mount Bracket System (Non-Concealed)
Usually proposed for buildings with flat roofs. A base plate will be connected to the demountable housing and at times when gondolas need be used, a davit arm will be inserted. -
Steel Mount Pipe Sleeve System
Usually proposed for building rooftops with steel structural works. Socket housing will be bolted to the structure, and davit arms are inserted therein as anchorage points for the gondola system. -
Slab Mount Bracket System (Concealed)
Usually proposed for buildings when gondola anchorage systems need be installed at balcony areas. Slab mount brackets can be concealed inside timber decking or flooring with a cover with custom design finishing. At times when gondolas need be used, the demountable housing will be set up and gondola systems accordingly rigged. -
Travelling Lifeline System
Permanent horizontal lifeline system with for example, simple independent anchor brackets that caters for the safety of workers completing maintenance works on building.
